Hosogai caused a sensation by arguing with co-host, Clinton Kelly. Kelly said of Hosogai, "I"ve really only gotten into fights with about two women out of 350 (over the years).. she told me I needed Botox and I just went off on her."
Besides appearing on the What Not To Wear, United States series, Hosogai wrote, directed and starred in the film Starving Actress and has had parts in Hollywood films, including The Minis and Weapon of Mass Destruction. Hosogai has her own brand of sunglasses, called Megumi-O. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
