Mehrdad Razavi

Background

Mehrdad was born on August 6, 1949 in Hamedan, Iran; son of Seyed Mofid and Jamileh (Aflatoni) Razavi.

Education

Mehrdad studied at Tehran University in Tehran, Iran. In 1971 he became a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. In a year he received a degree of the Master of Mechanical Engineering.

Career

Mehrdad served in the Iranian Army in the Islamic Republic of Iran from 1971 to 1973. Mehrdad worked as a mechanical engineer of oil and projects in Bornaa Consultant Engineers, Tehran, and Technip from 1973 to 1979. In this years he became a stress analyst of oil and gas projects in Nargan Consultant Engineers in Tehran, Iran. He worked there until 1984. Since 1984 Mehrdad worked as the head of the field of engineering in Nargan, Kangan Gas Refinery in Iran. He worked there for four years.

From 1988 to 1994 he was the head of piping and pipeline department in Nargan in Tehran, Iran. Since 1994 he was an engineering manager in the Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction. In 1998 Mehrdad was a project manager in Ahrom Technic Co. In this year he was engaged in construction and repair of metallurgical plants.
