Career
From 1942 through 1952, he played for the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates. Queen batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Maxwell, Pennsylvania.
In an eight-season career, Queen posted a 27–40 record with 328 strikeouts and a 5.09 European Research Area in 556-2/3 innings pitched.
Queen died in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 63. 1951: Led the National League pitchers with a 6.58 SO/9 (123 SO in 168⅓ Intellectual Property).
