Melissa Ann Tan,
She is of Dutch, Portuguese and Peranakan descent. She then represented Malaysia in the Mission Universe 2006 pageant which was televised live internationally from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on July 23, 2006. In that year Zuleyka Rivera from Puerto Rico placed first.
