Swire started his career at the family business, the Swire Group, in 1997. He worked for them in Hong Kong, Australia, China and London.
He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Swire Group. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Cathay Pacific, and HAECO. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors of Swire Properties since January 2009.
