Geissmann was the designer who created the “finger-free” glove representing the first new glove construction in more than 300 years. She was also one of the first American designers to create the matched accessory ensemble. One of the designs she created was a Bolero, Bag, Hat and Belt pattern.
She patented her idea and sold the Daniel Hayes Company a manufacturer"s License.
