Began in live stock business, Chicago, 1868. President 2d National Bank, Bucyrus, O., 1881-1891. Stockbroker, Cripple Creek, Colorado, 1897-1898.

Ranch owner and cattleman in Nebraska, 1898-1905, later becoming part owner Mohawk mine, Goldfield, Nevada. Removed to Los Angeles, California, 1907. Vice-president and Executive officer, Citizens National Bank.

Director and member board Citizens Trust & Savings Bank until 1922. Vice president Bank of America. Los Angeles, 1922-1929.

Member regional board Bank of Italy National Trust & Savings Association An organizer Los Angeles-Nevada Mining Stock Exchange, Monnette Mining & Milling Company.
