Career
Arnold earned a bachelor"s degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University (Brigham Young University) in 1972, and a master"s degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University in 1984. Professionally, Arnold worked in real estate, building and development, and later expanded into banking. From 1990 to 2003, Arnold was Director of Training and Field Services in the church"s Missionary Department.
In 2010, he began his service as president of the church"s South America South Area.
On January 6, 2013, he was released from that assignment and reassigned to church headquarters.
Membership
In 2003, he became a member of the Second Quorum of Seventy and in 2009, he was transferred to the First Quorum of the Seventy.
