Background
The son of Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Baronet and Susanna Highlord, Michael Biddulph was educated at Street Paul"s School and Christ"s College, Cambridge. He succeeded to his father"s baronetcy in 1683.
The son of Sir Theophilus Biddulph, 1st Baronet and Susanna Highlord, Michael Biddulph was educated at Street Paul"s School and Christ"s College, Cambridge. He succeeded to his father"s baronetcy in 1683.
He was also for Member of Parliament for Lichfield between 1695 and January 1701, between November 1701 to 1705 and between 1708 and 1710. Biddulph built and lived at Elmhurst Hall just north of Lichfield during his time as Member of Parliament for the city. Biddulph was buried in Greenwich in Kent on 1 May 1718.
