Career
Bird is a lecturer at Ridley Melbourne, having previously taught at Crossway College and Highland Theological College. Bird has written a number of books, including Evangelical Theology: A Biblical and Systematic Introduction (2013) and The Gospel of the Lord: How the Early Church Wrote the Story of Jesus (2014). He has strongly disagreed with F. David Farnell"s view on biblical inerrancy and his historical-grammatical method in New Testament studies, as well as his study on the impact of historical-critical philosophical ideologies in Biblical Criticism and interpretation of the New Testament.
