Written by a South African minister, this book explores solutions to the problem of apartheid and asks whether the Church can play a constructive role in peackmaking. The author looks at South Africa's predicament, assesses the current situation and the possibility of reconciliation. He considers the rise of apartheid and the dilemma of the Afrikaner. Questions of violence, civil disobedience, sanctions, national repentance and revival as well as the relationship of evangelism to social action are discussed. Michael Cassidy is the co-director and founder of Africa Enterprise. His previous novels are "Bursting the Wineskins" and "Chasing the Wind".
