Career
Folland joined the Army from his birth city of Richmond, Virginia in 1968, and by July 3, 1969 was serving as a Corporal in Company Doctorate, 2d Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, 199th Infantry Brigade. Folland, aged 20 at his death, was buried at Glendale National Cemetery in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia.
