Career
Gidley is an accountant and former Young Liberals president, he was unsuccessful at the 2006 election. Gidley is pro-life. Along with Bernie Finn and Geoff Shaw, he took part in the October 2014 March for the Babies alongside Bernie Finn and January Kronberg.
