Career
He is well respected and renowned for his various charity projects, especially for the ″Vulcan to the Sky″ cause. Knight joined the Royal Air Force in 1953. He was appointed Air Officer Commanding Number.
1 Group in 1980, Air Member for Supply and Organisation in 1983 and United Kingdom Military Representative to North Atlantic Treaty Organization in 1986.
He retired in 1989. He is now still actively involved with various charity and Royal Air Force related projects, maybe most notably, the ″Vulcan to the Sky″ project In retirement he was Chairman of the Air League.
Knight enjoys rugby and music in his spare time.
