Books include Tasmania"s Maria Island: A Comprehensive History and Visitor"s Guide (2001 and second edition 2005), The Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race: 1945 - 2001 (2002), Ten Events Shaping Tasmania"s History (2007) and The Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race (third edition - 2011 and fourth edition - 2014). In 2010 he published the life story of convicted Portuguese Arthur gunman, Martin Bryant"s mother - Carleen Bryant. The book was titled My Story.
