Background
He is also great-great-grandson of William Harris, 2nd Baron Harris, it is from him that Marriott takes his middle name of Harris. His godfather was his cousin, George Harris, 4th Baron Harris. His brother-in-law was the cousin of Jill Esmond.
Marriott is also a descendant of Henry Spelman.
