He is perhaps best known for his work on the American Broadcasting Company television drama Brothers & Sisters, working as a producer and director on that series throughout its five-season run (2006–2011). In 2010, it was announced that Morris would make his feature film directorial debut with a film entitled Golden Gate, however no further development on the film has been made since.
