With Green Berets, Southeast Asia, 1966-1974, assistant for economic policy and analysis to Assistant Secretary Defense, Washington, 1975-1977, political military advisor to assistant secretary State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs Washington, 1977-1979, director refugee and relief program United States Embassy, Bangkok, Thailand, 1980-1983.
