The bread and cup during Holy Communion symbolizes the broken body and shed blood of Christ that he offered for people the same way as he did for the disciples on the eve of his crucifixion.

A believer should support social climates, in which human communities are maintained and strengthened for the sake of all persons and their growth.

All persons need the ministry of the Church in their struggles for human fulfillment, as well as the spiritual and emotional care of a fellowship that enables reconciling relationships with God, with others, and with self.
