The content of this publication is based upon information given in a day-long symposium on poisonous plants held at the 40th Annual Meeting of the Society for Range Management at Boise, Idaho, February 8-13, 1987. The principle thrust of the symposium was to discuss the ecology of some of the important poisonous plants and the plant-animal interactions and to evaluate the economic impact of these plants on livestock production.
