Michel Blazy was born on April 24, 1966, in Monaco. His father was a painter. Probably, it was he who inspired Blazy to choose the artistic profession.
Michel Blazy studied at the Art School in Nice. Then he pursued his artistic training in Marseille.
Michel Blazy started his career in Paris where he had a studio.
Since the middle 1990s, Blazy began to experiment with foam. One of his first personal exhibitions where he presented the results of his experiments took place in Paris, at the Elisabeth Valleix Gallery in 1994. This one was followed by the solo shows in such French cities as Valence (1995, School of Fine Arts), Ajaccio (1996, Gabrielle Vitte Gallery) and again in the capital of France in 1997 at the City of Paris' Museum of Modern Art.
The following year was connected with the Michel Blazy’s debut abroad – he demonstrated his artworks in the United States, in New York City for the first time. His one-man show was titled The life of things.
The next country which saw the life sculptures and installations of the artist became Greece where Michel Blazy demonstrated his art at the foremost personal show in Athènes at the Gallery Unlimited, the first year of the 21st century. The same year, he held a solo exhibition in Mexico, at the Museum of Arts of the University of Guadalajara.
Other expositions of Blazy’s creations abroad included the personal show in the museum Kunsthaus Baselland in Basel, Switzerland, in 2002 and at the Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart, Germany the next year.
One more gallery which hosted Blazy’s art in Paris became Palais de Tokyo in 2007.
Eight years later, Michel Blazy exhibited his artworks at the Lyon Biennale of Contemporary Art.
One of the recent personal shows of the artist called Pull Over Time took place in 2016 at the regional centre of arts called Le Portique, in Le Havre.
Nowadays, Michel Blazy is working on the l'Ile-Saint-Denis. His art is represented today by the Art Concept Gallery which is situated in Paris, France.
