Michele Fawdon

Career

Fawdon also appeared in many television series, including Cop Shop, Young Ramsay, The Sullivans and A Country Practice. She played the role of Australian 19th-century painter Jane Sutherland in the 1985 American Broadcasting Company-television mini-series One Summer Again.

Achievements

• In 1979 she won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Cathy"s Child. An accomplished singer, she played the role of Mary Magdalene in the Australian cast of Jesus Christ Superstar.
