Some fathers love their little girls so much it hurts. When Carla was five her Daddy drove her far, far away and said "Your Mamma's dead." When she was six her Daddy said "What a filthy little girl." Then the nightmonster came and held her down until she couldn't breathe and there was noise in her ears. When she was twelve her Daddy said "it's time for you to become a real woman," and she wanted to die. When she was sixteen her Daddy said, "A real woman likes to be forced," and she knew it would do no good to scream. Now Carla is seventeen. There is only one way she can make her father listen to what she has to say.
