He graduated from London University in 1919.
After graduating from London University (1919) he succeeded to his father's business. He was well known in literary circles and is a connoisseur of ancient fine arts Among his works are Hyotan Namazu (as slippery as an eel), "Sunbath of a Mole" and "Dancing Kite."
