He graduated from Tokyo Lniversity in 1910.
Career
He served in the Ministry of Justice. He became chief of the District Public Procurators Office, ViceMinister of Justice, Public Procurator General, and appointed Minister of Justice in the 3rd Konoe Cabinet (1941). He remained in office in the Tojo Cabinet (1941). Detained the Sugamo Prison as a Class a war criminal. After he releases, became a lawyer. His father Baron Michitoshi Iwamura was once Minister of Agriculture and Commerce.
