In 1917 he graduated from Tokyo University.
Career
He entered the Mitsubishi Ooshi (joint capital) Company, and with the establishment of the Mitsubishi Mining Company, transferred to this company and became its president in 1951. In 1950, the metal department of this company was separated and became the Mitsubishi Metal Industry Company.
