Michizo Kishi was managing director of Nagoya Goban (Veneer Board) Company and Meiji Drug Manufacturing Company, nonregular staff member of Economic Research Council of South Manchurian Railway, director of Canton Office of Kochu Koshi (Company for Development, of China), private secretary to Prime Minister in the 1st Konoe Cabinet, private secretary to Director-General of Koa-in (Asia Development Board), chairman of All-Japan Scientific Technique Integration Association, chief director of Great Japan Technical Association, counselor of Comprehensive Planning Bureau of Suzuki Cabinet, president of Daido Lignite Manufacturing Company and president of Kinkai (Inshore Fishery) Company. He became vice-president of Doa Mining Company (1949) and member of Overseas Assets Council (1950).
