Career
Navarro represented Bolivia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he swam in the first heat of the men"s 100 m freestyle, against Congo"s Emile Rony Bakale and Libya"s Sofyan El Gidi. He finished the race in second place by more than a second behind Bakale, with a time of 56.96 seconds. Navarro, however, failed to advance into the semi-finals, as he placed sixty-third out of sixty-four swimmers in the overall rankings.
