Career
Mevlja first began his career in football with North Dakota Gorica where he eventually spent four years with the first-team His time with Gorica was largely unsuccessful as the team"s positing in the domestic league progressively dropped and in the Slovenian Cup the club went out at the quarter-final stage in each of his four years. In the summer of 2013 Mevlja joined Football Club Lausanne-Sport on a free transfer, his first club abroad, and will compete in the Swiss Super League after signing a two-year contract.
On July 2014 signed to Bnei Sakhnin for 1 year.
