She graduated from the Tokyo Music School.
Career
Won first prize at the 1934 AllJapan musical contest. She taught at the Seijo Girls’ Higher School before she joined the Fujiwara Opera Company (1942). After the war, she organized Nagato Miho Opera Company and appeared in its per¬formances of Madame Butterfly (1946) and Fidelio (1949). In 1950, her company was reorganized into a stock company, with her as president.
