Career
He plays for Sunderland. He usually plays as forward and is a regular starter for the Under 21"s squad. After playing for lower leagues in France, he joined Sunderland in 2011 as a 16-year-old.
After injury to Steven Fletcher he was called into training with the first team
On 30 March 2013 he was an unused substitute against Manchester United. On 29 April 2013 he made his professional debut against Aston Villa coming on as an 85th-minute substitute and replacing Danny Graham in a 6–1 defeat.
In May 2013 Mandron was called up to the Scotland U20 squad for the first time, he qualifies for Scotland through an Aberdeen born grandparent. On 6 January 2014, Mandron signed for Fleetwood Town on loan until the end of the season.
On 28 January 2015, Mandron signed on a youth loan for League Two side Shrewsbury Town until the end of the season.
