He was drafted by the British Columbia Lions in the fifth round of the 2006 Canadian Football League Draft and spent that season on the practice roster before being released after the 2007 training camp. He signed with the Edmonton Eskimos in August of 2007. He played Commonwealth of Independent States Football for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds and was named to the Canada West All-Star and 2nd Team All-Canadian squads in 2005.
In 21 Commonwealth of Independent States games he recorded 84 receptions for 1,438 yards and 5 touchdowns.
