1938-1939 took part in military operations on Lake Khasan and River Khalkin-Gol. 1939-1940 army surgeon in Finno-Soviet War. 1941-1945 chief surgeon of front.
From 1945 deputy chief surgeon of Soviet Army and head, Department of Faculty Surgery, 1st Moscow Medical Institute.
