Deputy Chairman, Belarusian Department, Soviet- Chinese Friendship Society. Main works deal with chemistry and technology of silicates, hist, of silicate chemistry and study of vitreous systems. 1923-1930 worked at various glass plants.
1931-1935 instructor, Leningrad Technology Institute. 1935-1942 Professor, Belarusian Polytechn. Institute; 1942-1946 Director, Physicotechn.
