LASHEVICH, Mikhail was born in 1884.
From 1901 in revol movement. Member, Bolshevik committees in Odessa, Nikolayev, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, etc. After 1917 February Revol secretary, then chairman, Bolshevik faction, Petrograd Soviet.
During 1917 October Revol member, Petrograd Military Revol Committee. Fought in October Revol. During Civil War member, Revol Military Council, 3rd, Southern, 7th and 15th Armies.
After Civil War chairman, Siberian Revol Committee. 1925-1926 joined Leningrad opposition, but soon abandoned it and recanted his eiTor. From 1926 deputy chairman, bd, Chinese-Eastern Railroad.
At 7th, 12th and 13th Party Congresses elected member, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). At 14th Congress elected candidate member, Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). January 1926 expelled from candidate membership of Central Committee.
1927 at 15th All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Congress expelled from Party for belonging to Trotskyist opposition. Later reinstated.
