From 1926 worked at State Physical Engineer Laboratory, then at Leningrad Electrophysical Institute. From 1934 professor, from 1935 head, Chair of Electr Insulation and Cable Engineer, Leningrad Polytech Institute. Member, Dielectrics Commission, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences.
