MIL, Mikhail was born in 1906.
1930 graduated Aircraft Construction Faculty, Moscow Higher Technology School.
Since 1947 engaged in designing singlerotor helicopters Mi-2 and Mi-4. Since 1958 has been designing helicopters with gas turbine motors. Late 1958 completed design of the first twin-turbine helicopter, the Mi-6.
Since 1959 engaged in fitting the Mi-1 and Mi-4 with gas turbine engines. 1929-1938 junior engineer, and senior engineer, Experimental Aerodynamics Division, Central Aerohydrodynamics Institute. 1940-1947 at Experimental Design Bureau, Moscow Aviation Institute.
