In the course of research on the functions of the nerve cells by the conditioned reflex method, established that x-ray irradiation of a dog’s head reduces conditioned-reflex activity in the cerebral cortex. Also demonstrated that x-rays affect the centers of the vegetative nervous system. Classified a group of malignant tumors with an embryonal structure which he named “embryocytomas”.
