Education

Mikhail Ivanovich was not educated at systematic art. In the 1930s, he attended A.A. Buchkuri and A.P. Vasiliev Art Studio in Voronezh. He studied at the Art Studio of B. Johanson in Moscow from 1946 to 1947.

Career

Mikhail Ivanovich Likhachev worked as a student of the artist in the Voronezh Drama Theater (1935-1938). In 1938, he made his debut at the exhibition of young artists of Voronezh. He was awarded a diploma of the 1th degree of the Committee on art under the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR for the painting "Back Home" (1952). He worked mainly on relevant genre paintings.
