Mikhail Vasilyevich Gratsiansky was born in 1870. He was the son of a priest.

Education

Graduated from the Ryazan Ecclesiastical Seminary (1891), Moscow Ecclesiastical Academy (1895). Vladimirsky (1895-1903) and Voronezh (1903-1910) diocesan missionary.

Career

Priest in the village of Verkhny Karachan Novokhopersky Uyezd (1910-1913), the Assumption Church in Voronezh (since 1913). Compiler of a valuable collection of books, handwritten and pictorial materials on the issues of schism and sectarianism, theology, church and civil history (about 1,000 names).

Achievements

Author of articles on the history of the Trinity cathedral ("Voronezh antiquities", 1905, issue 5). He donated books to the library of the Voronezh Church Historical and Archaeological Committee.
