Mildred Kornman

Career

Mildred, the younger sister of Mary Kornman, leading lady of the silent film Our Gang series, was featured as a regular in the series from 1926–1928 and made more appearances from 1929 until 1935. She had no speaking roles and appeared when many children were needed for a scene such as a classroom. Both Mildred and Mary are the daughters of Eugene Kornman, a still photographer at Hal Roach Studios.

Achievements

• Mildred appeared in many Our Gang shorts, known as a short subject, and later achieved fame as an adult fashion model under the name Ricki VanDusen.
