Miles Barth

Miles Barth was the founding curator of the Permanent Collection at the International Center of Photography, New York. He has written a number of books on photography and has organized countless photographic exhibitions. His most recent exhibition and book, "Weegee’s World", have won several national and international awards. He is currently curator of the Alan Siegel Photography Collection, New York.
Education
Miles Barth received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and the History of Photography jointly from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago.
Career
Since 1979 Miles Barth has been the curator of Archives and Collections at the International Center of Photography in New York City. Prior to that he was assistant curator of the Photography Department at the Art Institute of Chicago, 1971-1977.
