Research professor neurology University Hospital University British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, 1994.

Research professor neurosurgery Asahikawa Medical College, Japan, 1998. Director evaluation committee 21st Century Frontier Program Botanical Diversity, Daejeon, 2001—2007. Chairman pathological Chonnam National University Hospital, 2002—2006.
