Background

Ju, Ming was born on January 20, 1938 in Tunghsiao, Taiwan Province, China. Son of Lee-chi Ju and Ai Wang.

Education

Doctor of Philosophy art (honorary), Fu Jen Catholic University, 2003.

Career

Apprenticeship with Master Chin-chuan Lee, 1953—1957. Trained in modern sculpture by YuYu Yang, 1968—1976. First international exhibition Tokyo Central Museum, 1977.

Began Taichi Series in wood and bronze, 1978. Moved to New York to further his studies, 1981. Began Living World Series in wood, bronze, sponge, and stainless steel, 1981.
