Minoru Tanaka graduated from Tokyo University (1930).
Minoru Tanaka was appointed an assistant at Tokyo Technological College, then joined German Dyestuff Company.
He was an honorary member of Institute of Arts, then a research scholar at Noguchi Laboratory till he finally rejoined the Tokyo Technological College as instructor (1946). He was a member of Japan Society of Science and History.
A specialist in analytical chemistry, he is the author of several books including "Matter and Electricity", "History of Natural Science" and "History of Modern Chemistry".
