Co-pastor Fifth Avenue Church, New York, 1926-1933. Pastor First Church, Greenwich, Connecticut, 1933-1950. Moderator of New York Presbytery, 1931-1933.

Camp religious work director Young Men’s Christian Association, 1918. Captain reserve chaplain, United States Army, 1925-1935. Recording secretary.
