1915-1917 studied at Petrograd Psychoneurological Institute. 1920 graduate Odessa Medical Academy.
1920-1925 health officer in Vologda and otolaryngologist at various local hospitals. 1925 spent four months in Leningrad studying otolaryngology under Professor L. T. Levin. From same year extern, then international
Professor L. I. Sverzhevskiy’s Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic, 2nd Moscow University. Later head, Otolaryngological Department, Moscow City Hospital Nr 1. 1938 defended candidate thesis.
From 1943 assistant to Professor Sverzhevskiy. From 1947 in charge of faculty course on otogenic sepsis. 1951-1956 head Chair of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases, Samarkand Medical Institute and chairman, Samarkand Social of Otolaryngologists.
From 1956 pensioner, but continued to serve as consultant to various medical establishments in Moscow. Did research on colloidal chemistry of tonsils and devised accelerated colloidal catalysis reaction for the diagnosis of chronic tonsilitis and operative indications. While working in Moscow hospitals during World War 2 studied the local application of sulfonamides for wound treatment.
Also studied the otolaryngological use of ovoprotein as a general stimulant. Did research on the influence of various war factors on the incidence of suppurative ear diseases among the civilian population and noted a widespread atypical susceptibility to suppurative otitis media, mastoiditis and intracranial complications. 1947-1948 introduced use of casts to study the atypical healing of surgical wounds.
Also made a study of hypertonia in otolaryngology. Wrote numerous works, including two monographs.
