She first gained attention when she was scouted at Elite Modeling Agency"s Fresh Faces open call in 2009. Mischaela gained wider attention when her minimalist personal style was documented in Vanity Fair, The Sartorialist, Lucky, and South of Korea"s Cracker Your Wardrobe magazine in 2010. In 2015 she was named one of Glamour Magazine"s Global "Popularizer 100" and featured prominently in the magazine"s September issue.
Mischaela is a graduate of Indiana University"s Kelley School of Business and holds a Bachelor"s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing & Finance.
She completed her degree while working as a fashion print and runway model. Her fashion and lifestyle blog, Big City Blonde, is an authority and resource on the Minimalist lifestyle as well as the fashion and design aesthetic.
