Mitsusaburo Ramon was born on October 10, 1901 Osaka, Japan.
Mitsusaburo Ramon entering Toa Kinema (East Asia Cinema Company) made his debut on the screen (1927).
He established his own independent film studio (1932), went into contract with Takarazuka Kinema (1934), Nikkatsu (1935), Dai-ichi Eiga (First Motion Picture Company) and thereafter became affiliated with Daiei.
In his early period appeared mostly in roles of nihilistic men but later turned to villain's parts. Among major roles in which he played are Ugetsu Monogatari (Tales of Ugetsu) and Okiku and Harima.
