Background
He was born in Yangon, the first son of Burmese singer Aung Yin and Moe Thin Zar Myint. He grew up in Yangon with his family.

He attended elementary and middle school at TTC and he switched his school to I.L.B.C (a private school in Burma).
Career
He has a younger sister, Thin Zar Aung Yin. He wanted to be an actor ever since he was a child. His was enrolled to go attend a University in United Kingdom majoring in directing in 2007.
But he signed for the contract with Lucky 7 in Burma as their lead actor for 70 movies, instead of going to United Kingdom for his education.
He started making movies for the contract in 2008.
